Tucked away in the heart of the Lake District, Langstrath Valley offers a breath-taking escape into nature's rugged beauty. For those seeking solitude and adventure off the beaten path, this valley, with its dramatic landscapes and hidden swimming spots, is the perfect destination. Among its many treasures, Black Moss Pot stands out as a wild swimmer's dream. This is a prefect family day out, this is one of my lads favourite places to visit. You can spend hours here!

You can park in Stonethwaite post code - CA12 5XG. Please do not block any roads and be respectful. Parking is free along the road Google map -https://maps.app.goo.gl/JGuNeRZcbpFi8cev9

Route

Below is the OSmaps route to Black moss pot, I tend to start here and work my way back down the valley, as there is natural water slides ans so many more pools to explore.https://explore.osmaps.com/route/22951568/black-moss-pot?lat=54.504330&lon=-3.148915&zoom=13.1873&style=Leisure&type=2d&overlays=os-ncn-layer
